Episode 211 – How Five Questions Can Accelerate Your Growth

by | Apr 11, 2022 | Podcast

I’ve found that success requires constant examination. Agile, specifically, is just a tool. It’s a set of guiding principles and structured actions designed to bring about a consistent positive result.

But the things that are actually required are never modelled or enforced.

Courage, awareness, humility. These are the skills that add up to the spirit of the word agile. True flexibility and fluidity in execution.

So how do you get more of these? There are five questions that I ask myself every day.

Don’t underestimate the value of great questions. Great questions work because we know we’re going to have to answer them at the end of each day. We don’t want to show up empty-handed.

So here are the five questions.

1.    How did I lean into my fear zone today, beating my internal quitter, and playing all out?

2.    What failed, and how did you invert it?

3.    How did I empty my cup today, smashing a belief or habit?

4.    What did I learn?

5.    What could I MVP?

You can easily customize this list. I encourage you to use whatever works for you. Here’s a bonus tip. If you want to really magnify the impact of this practice, use an accountability partner.
